Our 8th grade OLHMS boys basketball players were honored as they walked onto the court this past Tuesday, February 14th against Simmons Middle School for the last time. After Tuesday’s win, our Mustangs advanced to a record of 14-1. In Tuesday’s 8th grade night game, Mateo P. led all players in points, Logan led the Mustangs with several assists and key buckets, Jake E. had many strong finishes at the rim, and Karmoni P. had countless offensive and defensive rebounds throughout the game. Our 8th grade Mustangs not only had professional posters made, gift bags full of goodies, and streamers all around the gym, but they gave their loved ones presentation carnations as they were announced one-by-one. With playoffs quickly approaching next week, our 8th grade boys are in the top five in their conference. Good luck to our OLHMS Mustangs in their regular season games and in the playoffs!
