After endless hours of practice, our 6/7th boys basketball team earned 5th place and our 8th grade Mustangs earned 2nd place in the SWIC Conference Tournament.
For our 6/7th grade boys basketball team, they played Conrady for 5th place this past Saturday. From start to finish, the boys gave it their all. It was a close game but in the end, our Mustangs stayed and played together to win 5th place in the SWIC Tournament!
In the 8th grade boys basketball game, our OLHMS Mustangs took on Evergreen Park for gold. From the start of the game, our Mustangs played with heart and hustle. Throughout the game, Danny, Shay, Angel and the Mustangs played their best. At the half, our Mustangs were down by 13 points, and they did their best to fight back and chip away at Evergreen's lead. Our Mustangs did an excellent job on both the offensive and defensive end, but OLHMS unfortunately fell short to Evergreen Park by eight points. We are so proud of our OLHMS boys basketball program, and thankful to Coach Dare and Coach Fisher for and their dedication to our program!
