Wellness Day at D123!

At D123, staff members look forward to our annual Wellness Day! Teachers and staff members gather together at OLHMS where they are greeted with a delicious breakfast catered from Panera Bread. After the scrumptious breakfast to start the day, staff members have the opportunity to create their own Wellness Day by choosing four sessions consisting of various workouts, breakout sessions, and hands-on activities focusing on overall wellness.

Our workout sessions encompass BARRE, Cardio Drumming, Pilates, Gentle Yoga & Meditation, and more. For our informational sessions, staff have the opportunity to learn more about Financial Wellness, Nutrition for a Healthy Heart, Behavioral Health Crisis Prevention, Dispelling Obesity Myths, 1:1 with a Team of Cardiologists, Women’s Bladder Health, and Understanding Your Health Benefits with TelaDoc, Wondr, EAP, and more. Last but not least, our hands-on wellness activities consist of Therapy Dogs, Independent and Guided Painting, Henna Hand Designs, an Esthetician creating custom facemasks or face scrubs, Healthy Juicing, and Massage Therapy.
