This week, OLHMS students are putting their best foot forward as they take the Fall MAP tests! In preparation, each student reviewed their personal profile and spring MAP data to reflect on their academic growth. Using that information, students set individual goals and created action plans to help them meet—or even exceed—their previous scores.
From planning stronger study habits to focusing on specific skill areas, Mustangs are determined to show progress and take pride in their learning journey. These personal goals not only build accountability but also help students see the direct connection between effort and achievement.
Goal setting is an important part of student growth at OLHMS. By creating meaningful goals and tracking progress, students are not only building lifelong skills but also working together toward District 123’s initiative of 100% All In—helping every student meet or exceed their growth targets in reading and math.
As testing begins, the OLHMS community is cheering on our Mustangs for all the hard work and determination they’ve put in to reach their goals. Go Mustangs!
