Mark your calendars! District 123 will be holding Fall Family Conferences on Thursday, October 16th, and Friday, October 17th. These conferences offer students a meaningful opportunity to reflect on their learning, showcase their progress, and set future goals through student-led conversations. By taking an active role, students build responsibility for their education and gain a clearer understanding of their growth.
To prepare, students should complete the slide presentations provided by their teachers. These slides guide students in self-reflection, display current grades in core subjects, set new winter NWEA goals, highlight samples of their work, and include important school updates and upcoming events.
Students should also check Skyward for any missing assignments and complete them to improve their grades. Additionally, reviewing their NWEA Math and ELA scores will help identify areas for improvement ahead of the winter and spring test cycles.
With thoughtful preparation, students will be ready to confidently reflect on their progress and make plans for continued academic success!
