Successful High School Fair

Successful High School Fair

On Thursday, October 23rd, OLHMS proudly welcomed students and families to its 7th Annual High School Fair! This event, first launched by the Counseling Department seven years ago, has grown into a beloved tradition that continues to inspire our scholars year after year.

The purpose of the High School Fair is to empower students and their families as they prepare for the next step in their educational journeys. Attendees had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from a variety of high schools, all right here at OLHMS. These meaningful conversations helped students learn more about academic programs, extracurricular opportunities, and the unique culture each school offers. Families left feeling excited, informed, and ready to take the next steps toward high school success.

Eighth grader Layla reflected on the experience, saying, “I really enjoyed and learned a lot at the high school fair! It also made me feel more comfortable and confident as I take the next step to high school soon.”

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all the participating schools for taking the time to connect with our OLHMS community and support our students’ futures:
