Successful Session of Xello

Successful Session of Xello

In the days leading up to Thanksgiving Break, 8th grade counselor Mrs. Vanessa Follmar stopped by all four ELA classrooms to introduce students to Xello, an innovative program that helps with career exploration and academic planning. Xello is a personalized platform that gives students a clearer understanding of what’s needed for college and career readiness, both locally and nationwide. With this tool, students build motivation, define their career goals, and discover new academic interests.

During the first Xello lesson, Mrs. Follmar walked students through the program, and classes completed two of the four interactive activities: an interest survey, a skills check, a learning style quiz, and a personality profile. These hands-on assessments encouraged students to think about their strengths and preferences, generating excitement about what lies ahead. Many students shared how much they enjoyed the experience.

We are truly grateful to Mrs. Follmar for helping our Mustangs take meaningful steps toward their futures. The 8th graders are already looking forward to their next Xello session in the coming months!
