Lady Mustangs Finish Season Strong with Championship Performances

The Lady Mustangs wrapped up an exciting basketball season with strong performances from both the 6th/7th grade and 8th grade teams, showcasing growth, teamwork, and determination from start to finish.

The 6th/7th grade Lady Mustangs closed their season on a high note by defeating Grissom in the Consolation Championship game by 35 points. Throughout the season, this team continued to grow and improve, playing unselfishly and supporting one another on and off the court. Their hard work paid off as they finished 6th overall during the regular season and earned an impressive 5th-place finish in the tournament. Their development and teamwork were evident in every game and set a strong foundation for the future.

The 8th grade Lady Mustangs delivered a truly remarkable season, capped off by winning the SWIC Conference Championship with a victory over Evergreen in the championship game. The team went undefeated all season with a perfect 14–0 record, finishing 1st in the conference and claiming the championship title. Their consistency, discipline, and commitment to excellence made this season one to remember.

Coach Carmody and Coach Danos are incredibly proud of both teams and the dedication the players showed throughout the year. They are excited about the growth of the program and are already looking forward to what the Lady Mustangs will accomplish next season!
