Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School recently hosted its 4th Annual Career Fair, giving students an exciting opportunity to explore a wide variety of future career paths. The event welcomed more than 60 career professionals, representing nearly 50 different careers, who shared information about their work, education paths, and real-life experiences with students.
During the fair, students visited booths, asked questions, and learned firsthand about the many opportunities available in different fields. From public service and healthcare to business, technology, and skilled trades, the event exposed students to careers they may not have previously considered.
Students also received a handout to guide their conversations and help them learn more about the professionals they met. By completing questions on the back, they could enter a gift card raffle.
Overall, the Career Fair was an exciting and valuable experience that helped students begin thinking about their future goals and possibilities!
