The OLHMS 6th/7th grade girls volleyball team brought home the tournament championship in dominant fashion, marking the school’s first title since 2020!
The Mustangs entered the final with something to prove, facing Palos—the only team to defeat them during the regular season. Fueled by determination and excitement for a rematch, OLHMS rose to the challenge and secured the win in two straight sets, 25–18 and 25–20.
The team’s performance throughout the tournament was nothing short of impressive, as they did not drop a single set on their path to the championship. Ava, one of the team’s setters, earned MVP honors for her standout play, while Ava, Brigid, and Emma were recognized as All-Conference players for their strong seasons.
With teamwork, resilience, and focus, the Mustangs made a powerful statement—bringing the championship trophy back to OLHMS for the first time in six years.
