On Thursday, April 2nd, OLHMS came alive with color, music, and culture during this year’s International Fest, led by Ms. Maan. The event brought students and staff together to celebrate the many backgrounds that make up our school community.
The day began with a meaningful Flag Ceremony, as students proudly represented countries from around the world. Throughout the event, classrooms were filled with energy as students shared their “Create a Country” projects, presented cultural research, and explored traditions from across the globe. Cultural dance performances were a standout moment, giving students the chance to express heritage through movement and music.
With over 100 students participating in planning, presenting, and performing, the event showcased strong student leadership and collaboration. International Fest continues to highlight the importance of understanding, respect, and unity within our diverse school.
Thank you to Ms. Maan, our students, and staff for making the day such a success!
