OLHMS eSports students recently got to visit Richards High School for a fun afternoon of gaming, pizza, and learning about eSports at the next level.
The visit was made possible by former OLHMS student and eSports player Nathan F., who asked his coach if the two teams could hang out. Richards coach Daniel DeYoung invited the team over, where students played games like Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Madden, and EA FC while also learning new strategies from the high school players.
Students had a great time and enjoyed seeing what eSports is like in high school.
Eli said, “That was really cool that we got to see what esports will look like at the high school level.”
Julian shared, “The high school team was so welcoming. I really like how everyone was nice to each other.”
Zack added, “That was so much fun to eat pizza and hang out with the high school kids.”
Overall, it was a fun experience that got everyone excited about the future of eSports!
