First Graders take on Konow’s Corn Maze!

On Thursday, October 9th, the first-grade teachers and their classes took a fun-filled fall field trip to Konow’s Corn Maze! Students explored the maze and observed animal and plant structures they had previously discussed in class, making meaningful connections to their science lessons. They also tied in their recent CKLA unit on fables and stories by seeing real-life versions of animals like cows and goats — just like the characters they had read about! It was a fun, educational day filled with fall excitement and hands-on learning.
