Kindergarten students at Kolmar have been busy learning all about farms in their CKLA unit—and they got a very special surprise visitor! Our school’s SRO, Officer Craig Zelhart, came to share something exciting: he actually owns a real farm called Wild Harts Farm!
On Tuesday, January 13, the district held its Board of Education meeting, where the Coyotes received well-deserved recognition. Earlier this school year, third- through fifth-grade students were invited to participate in a program called Coyotes That Care.
On Thursday, December 18th, Kolmar held its first assembly of the year, and it was definitely one to remember. This was not a typical assembly—instead of just sitting and listening, students got to be part of the action!
On Thursday, December 11, fourth-grade students traded their classrooms for dinosaur bones and ancient fossils during an exciting field trip to the Field Museum.
On Wednesday, December 10th, Kolmar’s K–2 students and choir members put on a holiday concert that truly felt like the start of the season. The kids showed up in their nicest outfits, looking excited and a little nervous in the best way.
On Friday, November 22, Kolmar students wrapped up the trimester with a fun-filled Fall Fest—and the excitement was everywhere! After weeks of showing the 3 Bs — Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe — students earned a well-deserved break packed with laughter, creativity, and friendly competition.
