Third Grade Goes to the Museum of Science and Industry

On Friday, February 13th, third grade students attended the Museum of Science and Industry and had a blast! In recent weeks, third graders have been diving deep into literacy and science topics such as animals, force and magnetism, the human body, and light and sound. There was no better place to bring these important concepts to life than the Museum of Science and Industry.

Prior to the trip, the third grade team completed several curriculum units to help students build strong background knowledge. During the visit, students were able to extend their learning and add new discoveries to their science content charts.

Students were buzzing with excitement as they shared how much fun they had and what a memorable experience the trip was. It was truly a day of hands-on learning and exploration for our third graders!
