On Thursday, October 23rd, Kolmar kindergarten students enjoyed an exciting field trip to Brookfield Zoo! In science class, students have been learning about the needs of plants and animals, as well as the habitats they live in. During the trip, they were able to observe these concepts in action while visiting different animal exhibits throughout the zoo.
Students saw many of their favorite animals, enjoyed a picnic lunch in the open eating areas, and had fun at the playground. Some groups also visited the Hamill Family Play Zoo and Animal Encounters for even more hands-on experiences!
These kindergartners are truly scientists in the making, and this trip was the perfect way to spark their curiosity about animals. A big thank-you goes out to our amazing kindergarten teachers for organizing such a memorable day!
