On Tuesday, November 11th, Kolmar school honored veterans with a special all-school assembly. Mr. Creech opened the event and invited the chorus to lead students and staff in singing the National Anthem. It was a beautiful moment.
Next, members of the student council spoke about the meaning of Veterans Day and the importance of honoring those who have served our country. Other students shared short poems and thank-you notes dedicated to veterans.
The assembly concluded with the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders joining together to sing a song of gratitude to our veterans. In their classrooms, teachers led activities to help students further understand the significance of Veterans Day.
A big thank-you to Mr. Creech and Mrs. Brodsky for organizing such a meaningful and educational event!
