On Friday, March 6th, Kolmar students gathered in the gym for an exciting all-school assembly to celebrate the end of the 2nd trimester. The PBIS team planned this special celebration and decided to try something new this time with a fun activity called “The Masked Reader.”
During the assembly, students listened carefully as mystery readers came out to read a story. The twist? The readers were actually Kolmar staff members dressed in silly costumes! Some wore giant inflatable outfits while others changed their voices to make it even harder for students to guess who they were.
Students eagerly watched, laughed, and whispered their guesses to friends as they tried to figure out which staff member was behind each costume. When the readers finally revealed themselves, many students were shocked and the gym filled with cheers and laughter.
The Masked Reader assembly gave students a chance to celebrate their hard work during the trimester while enjoying a fun surprise from their teachers and staff. With funny costumes, silly voices, and lots of laughter, it was a celebration the Kolmar students will definitely remember!
One question still remains unanswered. Who was in the Coyote costume? Will we ever find out?
