At Kolmar, the PTA hit it out of the park this year by switching things up! We were thrilled to host our first-ever Special Lady & Son Dance, and based on the smiles filling the room, it was a fantastic change of pace. The boys and their moms (as well as grandmothers, aunts, and special guests) arrived ready to play and had an absolute blast from start to finish.
The theme for the evening was "MVP and Me," and our community truly leaned into the spirit of the game. The gym was transformed into a stadium of fun, with students and their special guests suiting up in everything from favorite team jerseys and baseball caps to full sports gear. It was wonderful to see everyone matching their "teammates" as they prepared to dance the night away.
The energy in the gym was electric. Our DJ kept the crowd moving with a perfect mix of hit songs and interactive games that had both the kids and adults showing off their best moves. When guests weren't on the dance floor, they were fueling up on delicious pizza or heading over to the photo booth. The booth was a highlight of the night, capturing priceless, "cutest-ever" snapshots of our MVPs with their special ladies.
Beyond the games and the music, the night was really about the connections made. Watching our students share a special evening with the influential women in their lives was heartwarming. Memories were made, laughs were shared, and the bond of our Kolmar family felt stronger than ever.
