Field Day Fun

Every year, the Kolmar PTA does an outstanding job planning, coordinating, and executing the ultimate Field Day for our students. This year was no exception. From our youngest kindergarteners to our graduating fifth graders, the entire school spent the day rotating through a spectacular lineup of high-energy zones, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Some of the amazing highlights that had Kolmar buzzing with laughter, team spirit, and plenty of friendly competition. Some of the most popular activities included: obstacle courses where students tested their agility, speed, and endurance as they raced through relay courses and navigated various physical challenges. In the gym, the popular "Fun Friday" activities kept the energy high, giving students a fantastic space to showcase their teamwork. As tradition dictates, the ultimate showdown took place on the grass. There was no greater thrill for the students than joining forces to pull against their teachers.

After burning off energy out on the field, the students were treated to well-deserved refreshments to help cool down. Freeze-pops were served with the better half of savory salty popcorn!

An event of this scale requires months of logistical planning, heavy lifting, and incredible dedication. We owe a debt of gratitude to the dedicated members of the Kolmar PTA, whose fundraising and volunteer hours made this day possible. We also want to extend a special thank you to Mrs. Kicho and Mrs. Lyman for their extraordinary hard work behind the scenes to ensure the entire day ran smoothly.

Field Day is a cherished Kolmar tradition that allows our community to enjoy these final, joyful moments together before the school year concludes. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day such a resounding success for our students.
