Earlier this week P.E. Teacher Mrs. Lyman got all of our attention when she announced “This is the highest amount we have ever raised!” Kolmar raised over $12,000 for the American Heart Association through the Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. This well surpassed their $10,000 goal. On Friday, February 18th, the whole school participated in the Jump Rope for Heart event during their P.E. classes. The event consisted of a variety of activity stations that all revolved around jumping. The students absolutely loved the event and had a blast leading up to the big day. Many of them said how much they loved knowing their fundraising was helping a good cause. This year’s success shows how much we can accomplish when we come together as a school community!
