In order to celebrate read across America day and Dr. Seuss’ birthday, the Kolmar kindergarteners had a week filled with fun, Seuss themed activities! Each day had a different theme that matched one of Dr. Seuss’ books. Some of the books they read were The Lorax, Wacky Wednesday, Fox in Socks and Oh The Places You’ll Go. They created different crafts to match the stories and even dressed up to match the theme each day! Dr. Seuss is such an icon in literacy and our kindergarten teachers wanted to make sure we honored him. Such a memorable week for these little learners!
