The OLHMS Lady Mustangs basketball teams are off to an impressive start this season, showing hard work, determination, and great teamwork on the court.
The 6th/7th grade team holds a 3–1 record, earning two exciting wins against Grissom, Century, and Tinley. Both games showcased the team’s growing chemistry, hustle, and strong defensive play. Despite a tough loss against Prairie View, the girls continue to push themselves and improve with each game.
Meanwhile, the 8th grade Lady Mustangs are dominating early in the season with an undefeated 4–0 record. Their energy, focus, and teamwork have set the tone for a promising season ahead. 8th grade player Emily shared her excitement about the team’s progress, saying, “We’ve had a strong start to the season, and we’re looking forward to winning more games and continuing to grow together as a team.”
