Unity Day at District 123

Unity Day

October 21, 2020 marks Unity Day at District 123. The District-wide celebration calls for an end to bullying and encourages students to be accepting and kind to their peers.

“Unity Day offers D123 the chance to unite against bullying and encourage acceptance and kindness. It is the perfect way to celebrate Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) in each school by coming together with common interests,” said Shannon Mural, the D123 PBIS Lead.

To celebrate the day students can wear orange on Unity Day to symbolize their support of being kind, post dance pictures or video to social media and use #D123Unites or “walk away from bullying” by going on a walk.
