District 123 participated in a nation-wide effort to stop bullying. Unity Day 2020 encourages students to be kind to their peers. Students across the district participated in events like “Chalk the Walk”, made kindness pledges to their classmates, and even danced away bullying by shaking it during school!
“Unity Day offers D123 the chance to unite against bullying and encourage acceptance and kindness. It is the perfect way to celebrate Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) in each school by coming together with common interests,” said Shannon Mural, the D123 PBIS Lead.
