More than 70 families made their way into Hometown Elementary school this week for Literacy Night. Families made their way from classroom to classroom, making Valentine themed treats, doing activities in an igloo classroom and making personalized Valentines for loved ones.
“It means so much to us to have so many families here tonight, family involvement is so vital to our community here at Hometown school and I know it means the world to your students to have you here celebrating literacy night,” said Principal Katy Spreitzer.
The night ended with each group taking a fun photo that they could take home as a keepsake for the night.
