Sward Principal, Candy Kramer receives a grant from the Dart Foundation.
Thanks to a grant from the Dart Foundation the Sward outdoor classroom will get a musical addition come Spring.
“This grant will be used to buy these beautiful outdoor flowers to put in the classroom. Each flower is cemented into the ground and a mallet is attached, and each petal plays a different note or tone. We are so thankful to the Dart Foundation for helping us bring music into the outdoor classroom in such a fun way,” said Sward Principal, Candy Kramer.
The Dart Foundation is a foundation that encourages youth education, primarily in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. They also support projects that strengthen and improve the quality of life in numerous identified communities.
