Miss. Molloy’s Class with the grant.
Third Grade Sward Teacher, Miss Molloy, recently received a grant from the Marquette Bank Adopt a Classroom Prize Drawing. However, Molloy didn’t enter herself in the drawing, she was entered anonymously.
“I am so grateful to whoever nominated me and my classroom. I am so thankful for the opportunities this will bring my students,” said Molloy.
The $200 prize will be used to purchase a Qball for the class. Qball is a new interactive tool for a classroom, a soft, throwable microphone.
“I hope this new technology will encourage participation and motor skills in the classroom. Any leftover funds will be used to buy a few sturdy headphones,” said Molloy.
The Marquette Bank Adopt-A-Classroom prize drawing is part of the Marquette Neighborhood Commitment, where each quarter the bank focuses on a different area of need – shelter, hunger, education and health/wellness.
