Teamwork makes the “leaf” work: Another successful Community Leaf Raking Event

The Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123 community came together on Saturday, November 15, for a heartwarming day full of teamwork, laughter, and lots of leaves. Over 100 dedicated volunteers grabbed their rakes and rolled up their sleeves to rake nearly 50 yards, leaving them clean and fall-ready.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered for this community event. The Leaf Raking Day is a key element of the District’s outreach to senior citizens, veterans, and those in our community who struggle with this annual physical task.
