The Oak Lawn-Hometown PTA Council is proud to announce the 2020 Helen Whalen Scholarship. The PTA Council will award three $1,250 scholarships in honor of Helen Whalen, a dedicated volunteer in District 123 schools and the PTA many years ago.
- Students who meet the following criteria may apply:
- Is a graduating high school senior
- Ranks in the upper 50% of their graduating class at the end of the first semester of senior year
- Plans to attend a community college, university or trades school
- Has attended at least four school years in a District 123 school system.
To apply for this scholarship, send the completed, required pages to the address below. All components of this scholarship must be sent in together, including transcripts, with ACT or SAT scores, and postmarked no later than Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Application packages may be dropped off in person by Friday, April 3, 2020, as well. For more information click the link below.
