Hometown School’s very own Vinny Ramirez helped alert his mother of a fire in their apartment building, potentially saving lives and limiting property damage. The kindergarten student relied on fire safety skills he learned in preschool in District 123. Mrs. Bjorklund brings the Oak Lawn Fire Department to the class every year to discuss fire safety with the preschoolers.
