During the February 28th, Board of Education meeting, the 2022-2023 D123 academic school calendar was approved. Some highlights from the calendar include:
- The school year will start with two days of staff institutes; August 15th and 16th.
- The first day of student attendance will be Wednesday, August 17th and will be a half day from 8:30-11:30 am.
- Fall Family Conferences will take place on October 13th & 14th.
- No School on November 8th for Election Day.
- Students will be out of school November 21-25 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
- Winter break begins Friday, December 23rd at 3:20 pm and students will return Monday, January 9th, 2023 at 8:30 am.
- Spring Family Conferences will take place on February 23rd & 24th.
- Spring break will start on March 27th and students will return on April 3rd at 8:30 am.
- The last scheduled student attendance day is June 2nd, 2023 from 8:30am to 11:30 am.
- However, given the unpredictable nature of Illinois weather, there are five emergency days scheduled for June 5-9, 2023.
