Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123 congratulates incumbents Carly Bishop, Peter DeRousse, and Brian Nichols on their successful campaigns for the District 123 Board of Education. District 123 also welcomed new member Bryant Evans to the Board at the April 28, 2025 meeting. They each swore the oath of office during the Business Meeting that evening.
During the meeting, the board also held a reorganization, electing Ed Smykowski as Board Vice President and appointing Carly Bishop as the representative to the IASB Governing Board and representative to the D123 Educational Foundation. Brian Nichols was re-elected as Board President, and Jennifer Fortier was re-elected as Board Secretary and appointed SCOPE (South Cooperative Organization for Public Education) representative.
"I am grateful for the continued service of our returning District 123 board members,” Superintendent Paul Enderle said. “Their steadfast leadership and shared commitment to student success have been instrumental in helping to drive our progress. I look forward to deepening our collaboration as we build on the foundation we have established together in School District 123."
