Board of Education

One of the most important responsibilities of the superintendent and the Board of Education is to establish a vision, mission, and strategic direction for the district. Guided by our mission, "Preparing today's learner for tomorrow's world," the Board works with all stakeholders to create a blueprint for success against which all decisions are measured. At the heart of our strategic plan is our Portrait of a Graduate, which describes every student growing as a Confident Learner, Flexible Thinker, Inclusive Community Member, and Productive Teammate. The Board's work is focused on academic success, safe and supportive schools, a thriving workforce, operational excellence, and strong community partnerships. Throughout, we are guided by the belief that every child has unlimited potential and deserves access to a quality education.
